History of WWW

WWW is one of the most crucial parts of Google. Whether you are working with options like add me to search or regular search, www is an essential tool. It frames the basics of the internet. So how has this essential internet component developed as we see it today? We will answer this question today.

How WWW started?

The progress of the technology industry over several decades led to the creation of the World Wide Web. There are various sources, documents, and web pages on the internet. The WWW can be viewed as a collection of elements offering users various information. These details may be found in written materials, online sources, or web pages. These pages are accessible on a worldwide or international scale. These are regarded as the main structural component of the entire system. A specific hypertext or hypermedia can be obtained from one end. Another connected format of the WWW is the hyperlink. In 1991, the WWW system was made publicly available, and ever since then, it has altered how people hunt for information. In addition, it has changed how people get information. However, it was a royalty program before its introduction. In 1993, it attained royalty-free status after that.

Tim also gave the first web page editor or browser, the WorldWideWeb.app, and the 1st  web server, which is called htttpd. In the last days of 1990, the open internet received its very first web page. Then, in 1991, the community welcomed people other than the CERN. Later in 1994, Tim went from CERN to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He then started World Wide Web Consortium, which is also called W3C. It is an international group that focuses on enhancing open web standards. Till now, Tim has been the director of this community.

Technical working of WWW

The World Wide Web encompasses all publicly accessible websites and online pages. Users can readily access these through their preferred internet connection point. The word "www" contains several backlinks or hyperlinks that let users open various websites based on their searches. Have you ever wondered how you may access the correct website when so many of them are listed in the internet's database? It is done by placing the website's link after the www prefix.

On the internet, information about websites can be kept in various formats, including words, photographs, videos, etc. Therefore, the "www" can be viewed as a little portion of the entire internet system that assists us in obtaining the necessary information.
